This project taps into the potential spectacle of motion capture, the technology of transforming physical movement into digital information. The building is composed of the motion capture stage at the base and the aquatic motion capture pool at an elevated level. The two spaces are linked by a unifying knotted structural vertebra which anchors the aquatic pool to the earth whilst cantilevering over the centre. The motion capture performer's stage is transformed into a theatrical arena.
