transient rainscreen
This project seeks to capture the sense of transient and the momentary through the design of an elevated urban train station. The light from the passing train catches the tensile structure of the station to create a momentary and ethereal veil. Immaterial 'materials' such as light, vibration, motion and rain are orchestrated to form a transient station, challenging the physical boundaries of the space and the permanence of the building. The platform-less station performs as an urban spectacle.
